According to the study, two-thirds of Canadians (67 per cent) are likely to take a beach vacation in the near future. And we don’t need any special reason to do so – 84 per cent of those very or somewhat likely to take a beach vacation in the next 12 months say they’ll be going south without any special occasion or event in mind.

Whether travelling to visit family and friends (18 per cent) or for a vacation getaway (11 per cent), a large majority of Canadians (71 per cent) agree that a vacation would help relieve stress associated with the holiday season.
