Toronto, December 10, 2015 – According to Expedia.ca™, Canada’s leading full-service online travel provider, the busiest day of travel during this holiday season is expected to be Saturday, December 19th, 2015, based on flight demand on Expedia.ca as of November 27th, 2015, between the travel period of December 17thand January 6th. Nearly 1.3 million passengers are expected to travel through Toronto Pearson International Airport from December 15-25th, 2015.
 
Some Canadians will travel to be with friends and family, while others will look to escape the cold weather. Popular international destinations for the holiday season are mostly in warmer locations.

TORONTO, November 24, 2014– According to a recent survey from Canada’s leading online travel provider*, Expedia.caTM, travel is on the mind for six out of ten Canadians this holiday season as 29 per cent are planning to travel and another 29 per cent wish they could be travelling. Whether travelling to visit family and friends (18 per cent) or for a vacation getaway (11 per cent), a large majority of Canadians (71 per cent) agree that a vacation would help relieve stress associated with the holiday season.
